Dionne Joyner-Weems is a natural-born storyteller from West Baltimore, with an extraordinary career spanning more than 20 years in global branding and social justice. She and her husband are proud graduates of Morgan State University, and they are raising their three dynamic sons a short distance away from their alma mater.

Dionne is known as a CEO mommy with a colorful energy that is authentic and unparalleled.

Born in the 80s, Dionne has long recognized society’s systemic challenges and dedicated her talents to connecting marginalized communities throughout major urban cities across the United States. She has the unique ability to inspire and motivate others, bringing together diverse groups of individuals and fostering collaboration for collective impact.

One of her most notable accomplishments to date is the #MyBmore Project, which she launched shortly after Freddie Gray’s death. The project serves as a beacon of pride for locals inundated by sensationalized media stories shaped by bias. While serving as the Chief Marketing Officer for the city’s tourism bureau, Dionne formed the organization's Community Affairs division and created the city’s first LGBTQIA+ Marketing Campaign and Tourism Advisory Committee. She secured the NAACP’s National Convention for Baltimore, yielding $6-10 million in economic impact, and created the city’s first Family Expo at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum. The expo was designed to help families find resources to plan a reunion in the city and was named the “Best Event” by the Maryland Travel Council.

In 2018, Dionne Joyner-Weems became a social entrepreneur and launched her global marketing shop, Audacity Group LLC.
